Farm Stand

Pie Ranch’s Farmstand

Our farmstand is packed with lots of goodies, including Senatore Cappelli whole grain flour, blue corn flour, dry heirloom beans, and so many preserves. We also sell prints, jewelry, and ceramics from local artists as well as medicinal herbs, grass-fed beef and locally pastured chicken and pork, and Pie Ranch hats, shirts, and tote bags.

Companion Bakeshop has been our pie-partner for 11 years. It was created in 2006 with the help of a supportive community and out of the love of hearty sourdough. In the early years, Erin Lampel spent long days in the kitchen hand-mixing all of the dough, baking, packing and working the farmers  markets. Early relationships were formed with local farms to put lofty loaves of sourdough in CSA boxes and slowly a solid, loyal customer base was built. A self taught baker, Erin holds a degree in Agriculture & Fruit Sciences from Cal Poly State University. She continued her education completing the CASFS (Center for Agro-ecology & Sustainable Food Systems) program. It was during this program that she brought her love for agriculture to the kitchen and in 2007, started baking pies for Pie Ranch. Over the years Lampel’s truly local pies have gained a dedicated following and now, Companion staffers bake over 270 pies a week for sale at Pie Ranch through their bakeshop space, founded in 2010. Companion is still run as a family; meaning the business has grown from 2 people to over 20 employees.

Pie Ranch’s Farmstand is open 6 days a week.
