MISSION PIE SET TO OPEN
After much preparation, the new café and pie shop doors are opening tomorrow at 25th and Mission in San Francisco.
Five of the Mission High students who have been coming to Pie Ranch monthly for the last two seasons have been putting the final touches on the café and learning how to make coffee drinks to accompany such treats as pies that feature the pumpkins they planted and harvested. Jasmine, Scott, Melissa, Andy, and Alex will be covering shifts at the café every afternoon from 4pm on and all day on weekends. Come by and say hello and of course “buy fresh, buy local.”
Opening pies will be apple, walnut (Craig McNamara's), and pumpkin (featuring our pumpkins.) Also serving Mystipies, savory handpies made by Yumna McCann at La Cocina.
Featuring Taylor Maid coffee, recognizing their commitment to providing sustainable agriculture and support to coffee producers worldwide, as well as commitment to fairness of trade.
Hours are:
M - Th 7 am to 9pm
Fri 7 am to 10pm
Sat 8am - 10pm
Sun 8am to 9 pm
