Volunteer
Third Saturday Work Days & Barn Dances
Every Third Saturday of the month, Pie Ranch hosts a community work day, potluck dinner, and rollicking barn dance in the roadside barn. All are welcome; come lend a hand in the fields while you work alongside other volunteers and farmers. Celebrate the spirit of community at this monthly ritual of working together on the ranch, sharing locally grown food, and then spinning, laughing and dosey-doing together into the night.
The work party begins at 1pm, potluck at 5pm and dancing at 5pm. The dance is $10-20 sliding scale to compensate our rockin’ band, the County Line Pickers, stellar caller Andy Wilson, and cover our infrastructure costs. (Children under 12 free.)
To inquire about other volunteer opportunities, please contact Farm Programs Manager Nancy Vail.

Eat Pie!
We sell our produce and pies at the Pie Ranch Farm Stand, open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-6, March through October (12-5 in daylight savings). Some of the ingredients we grow at the ranch, such as wheat and berries, go into the pies, at Companion Bakers, who are based in Santa Cruz.
