We welcome you to the farm to ‘bird’ in community. Storey, our farm’s favorite birder, will lead the interpretation and guide us through the land- sharing how birds support a healthy farm ecosystem. We will walk as a group from 9:30-11:30, break for a Farmstand shop and then join for a picnic in the meadow.

Storey has volunteered at Pie Ranch for 6 years, and has a life-long passion for birds. After the 2020 fires, Storey built and intentionally placed nest boxes around the farm to increase our bird bio-diversity. Birds can act as organic pest control for our agricultural acres. Pie Ranch is able to provide habitat with our native plant hedgerows and corridors. Storey’s spark bird is the Northern Cardinal.
