MOBILITY & SAFETY

This workshop takes place on the land at Pie Ranch. The foraging component takes place at dawn on the rugged shoreline of the peninsula coast, which involves steep areas, slippery rocks, seaweeds, sharp rocks, shells, barnacles, etc along uneven terrain. Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical readiness for the shoreline foraging component.

I signed up. What do I do now?

Thank you for registering! We will reach out in the coming weeks to gather info from each registered participant about dietary restrictions, mobility limitations, and to provide directions and what-to-expect information for the workshop.

Will there be a possibility of a carpool?

Yes! We understand many folks may be coming from the bay area. We can introduce folks coming from similar areas to allow for a possibility of a carpool in the welcome email to registered participants.

What is the terrain like for this experience?

Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical readiness for the shoreline foraging component. We will also be on a working farm, so the ground will be uneven.
